A quick and flavorful dish combining tender chicken and vibrant broccoli in a savory soy sauce glaze, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, add to the skillet, and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes on each side.
  3. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, stir-fry the minced garlic and broccoli florets for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Mix the soy sauce and cornstarch in a small bowl to create a slurry.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, pour the soy sauce mixture over, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve over cooked rice.
