Delightful bite-sized apple fritters that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, perfect for snacking or breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Combine the dry ingredients: In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and sugar.
  2. Whisk the wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  3. Merge the mixtures: Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just blended.
  4. Fold in the apples: Gently fold in the diced apples.
  5. Heat the oil: Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry the fritter bites: Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Drain and dust: Remove fritters from the oil, drain on paper towels, and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes
