Delightful and fluffy pancakes infused with the sweetness of grated apples and the creaminess of yogurt, perfect for a wholesome breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup grated apple
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Whisk your dry ingredients in a bowl until combined.
  2. Mix your wet ingredients in another bowl until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the grated apple into the wet ingredients.
  4. Combine the wet mixture with the dry ingredients gently.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and grease with cooking oil.
  6. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet.
  7. Cook until bubbles form and flip to cook the other side until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with syrup or fresh fruits.

Notes

For added flavor, mix in cinnamon or nutmeg to your dry ingredients. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
