A delightful fusion of flavors with sweet mango and savory chicken wrapped in flaky puff pastry, perfect for parties or cozy nights.

  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 ripe mango, pureed
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Green onions, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix together the mango puree, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper to create a glaze.
  3. Marinate the sliced chicken in the mango glaze for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into strips about an inch wide.
  5. Place the marinated chicken pieces on the pastry strips and twist them gently to wrap the chicken.
  6. Arrange the twists on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with any leftover marinade and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  8. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate longer if possible. Keep puff pastry chilled until ready to use.
