  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until they reach a smooth consistency.
  3. Add in the melted butter, enhancing that rich flavor.
  4. Stir in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
  5. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  6. Gradually add the all-purpose flour until just combined.
  7. Roll out the dough into a rectangle shape.
  8. Spread the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture generously over the dough.
  9. Starting from one end, roll the dough up tightly to form a log.
  10. Slice the rolled dough into equal-sized pieces and place them in a baking dish.
  11. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  12. Let the rolls cool slightly before digging in.
