Delicious cinnamon rolls infused with the flavors of banana bread, topped with creamy cream cheese frosting.

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Mash the bananas until smooth, then mix in the melted butter, sugar, brown sugar, milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  3. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl.
  4. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients to form a dough.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to create a rectangle.
  6. Spread a mixture of melted butter and cinnamon on top.
  7. Roll up the dough tightly and cut it into slices.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract for the frosting.
  10. Spread the cream cheese frosting over the warm rolls.

Notes

For best results, use really ripe bananas. You can also add nuts or chocolate chips for extra texture.
