A delightful fusion of flavors in a quick fried rice recipe, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn, etc.)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and chopped green onions to the heated oil. Sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Stir in the mixed vegetables and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  4. Next, add the cooked rice, soy sauce, sriracha, sesame oil, and season with salt and pepper. Mix until well coated.
  5. Stir continuously over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until heated through.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Use day-old rice for best results. This dish is easily customizable with additional proteins or veggies.
