A fun and tasty meal featuring crispy salmon bites coated in a spicy and creamy Bang Bang sauce, served with rice and fresh greens.

Ingredients

  • Salmon fillets
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Cornstarch
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • Bang Bang sauce (mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha)
  • Rice (white or brown)
  • Mixed greens or spinach
  • Avocado
  • Green onions
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare a deep fryer.
  2. Cut salmon fillets into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Toss salmon pieces in cornstarch until well coated.
  4. In a pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the salmon bites until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha to create the Bang Bang sauce.
  6. Toss the fried salmon bites in the sauce until well coated.
  7. Prepare bowls with a base of rice, add mixed greens, top with Bang Bang salmon bites, sliced avocado, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Make sure to cut the salmon into even pieces for uniform cooking. Adjust spiciness of the sauce to taste. For added crunch, top with chopped nuts or fried onions.
