Elevate your classic grilled cheese sandwich with delicious pesto and gooey cheese, all encased in buttery, crispy bread.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons pesto
  • 4 slices of cheese (like mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread pesto on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread in the skillet, pesto side down.
  4. Top with two slices of cheese.
  5. Slather the outer sides of both slices with butter.
  6. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
  7. Slice your sandwich in half and enjoy!

Notes

Serve alongside potato chips or a fresh garden salad. Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
