Delightful Blueberry Cinnamon Rolls combining warm cinnamon flavors with fresh blueberries, perfect for brunch or dessert.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda in a large bowl.
  3. Mix in the softened butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add the buttermilk until a soft dough begins to form.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle about 12×8 inches.
  6. Spread the fresh blueberries evenly over the dough.
  7. Sprinkle the cinnamon and brown sugar over the blueberries.
  8. Roll the dough tightly from the long end.
  9. Cut the rolled dough into 8 equal pieces.
  10. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  11. Serve warm with a pat of butter or a drizzle of icing.
