  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Cream the cream cheese and butter until smooth in another bowl.
  4. Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and milk; mix until well combined.
  5. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the blueberries gently.
  7. Scoop the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Serve warm with butter or jam. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days.
