A heartwarming Broccoli Casserole dish filled with creamy cheese and tender broccoli, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 head of broccoli, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, lightly steam the chopped broccoli until just tender.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, milk, onion, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the steamed broccoli to the cheese mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix breadcrumbs with olive oil until evenly coated, then sprinkle over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
