Brownie Bottom Cheesecake Bars

A delightful combination of rich brownies and creamy cheesecake, these bars are sure to impress at any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of brownie mix
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine brownie mix, water, vegetable oil, and 2 eggs. Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add 2 eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
  4. Pour the cheesecake mixture over warm brownies and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until the cheesecake is set but slightly wobbles in the center.
  6. Cool to room temperature and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  7. Before serving, melt chocolate chips and drizzle over bars. Cut into squares.

Notes

For an added touch, serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
