Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheese to your dry mixture.
  4. Whisk together the milk, melted butter, and egg in a separate bowl.
  5. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan, smoothing out the top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the bread cool slightly before removing it to a wire rack and slicing.
