A healthy and delicious jam made with fresh berries and chia seeds, perfect for spreading on toast or mixing into yogurt.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh berries (raspberries, strawberries, or blueberries)
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons natural sweetener (honey or maple syrup)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mash the fresh berries in a bowl with a fork or blender until desired consistency is reached.
  2. Stir in the chia seeds, natural sweetener, and lemon juice until well combined.
  3. Allow the mixture to sit for 15-20 minutes to thicken, stirring occasionally.
  4. Transfer the jam to a jar and refrigerate.

Notes

Adjust the sweetener to your taste. If the jam is too thick after chilling, stir in a little more water or lemon juice.
