A delightful treat combining ripe bananas and rich chocolate, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
  4. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  5. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  6. Stir in the flour until just incorporated, then fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased 4×8 inch loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a tester inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the bread cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. For extra flavor, spread butter or cream cheese on top.
