Delightful, fluffy pancakes loaded with chocolate chips, perfect for a family breakfast or special occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • Cooking spray or additional butter for the pan

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Combine the milk, egg, and melted butter in another bowl, whisking until smooth.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  6. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
  7. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes.
  8. Flip the pancake and cook until golden brown on the other side, about another 2-3 minutes.
  9. Serve warm with syrup or your favorite toppings.

Notes

For variations, try adding mashed bananas or a pinch of cinnamon.
