Instructions

  1. Mix the dry ingredients: In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Whisk the wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter until smooth.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips: Gently fold in the chocolate chips evenly throughout the batter.
  5. Prepare the cooking surface: Heat a griddle or frying pan over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  6. Pour the batter: Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan for each pancake.
