Transform leftover chocolate croissants into a delightful breakfast bake with a rich custard and melted chocolate.

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered sugar for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Tear the chocolate croissants into chunks and place them in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the croissant pieces, ensuring they are soaked evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes
