Delightful Coconut Chocolate Bars filled with shredded coconut, a rich chocolate layer, and sweetened condensed milk, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.

  • 2 cups shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract. Spread the coconut layer into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, and salt. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the chocolate mixture over the coconut base and spread it evenly.
  5. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chocolate is set and the edges are slightly firm.
  6. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week or refrigerate for two weeks. These bars freeze well if wrapped tightly.
