A rich chocolate cake combined with crushed Oreos and topped with a cloud-like whipped cream frosting.

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the softened butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk to the dry ingredients; mix until smooth.
  4. Gently fold in the crushed Oreo cookies.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Allow the cake to cool completely before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. Whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar together until stiff peaks form.
  8. Spread the whipped cream frosting over the cooled cake and garnish with more crushed Oreos.

Notes

For deeper chocolate flavor, use dark cocoa powder. Ensure heavy cream is well-chilled for the best whipped texture.
