A one-pan wonder that combines tender chicken with delicious bowtie pasta and bright green broccoli, all brought together with a zesty cowboy butter sauce.

  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 lb boneless chicken breasts, cut into pieces
  • 4 tablespoons cowboy butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; add broccoli for the last 3-4 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt cowboy butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sauté the chicken with salt and pepper until browned, about 6-7 minutes.
  4. Combine the cooked pasta and broccoli into the skillet.
  5. Mix in lemon zest and juice to incorporate all the flavors.
  6. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
