A comforting and delicious creamy garlic chicken dish that’s perfect for weeknight dinners and special occasions.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside to rest.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, simmer a bit longer. You can also substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter option.
