  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 sandwich buns
  • Lettuce, for topping
  • Tomato slices, for topping
  • Pickles, for topping
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and dill.
  3. Create the breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then in eggs, and finally coat it in breadcrumbs.
  5. Bake the breaded chicken for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Make the aioli by mixing mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic, and lemon juice.
  7. Toast the sandwich buns until golden and crispy.
  8. Assemble the sandwich with crispy chicken, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and aioli.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crunch, double-bread the chicken by repeating the dredging process. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
