- 1 cup chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup chocolate syrup
- 1 cup whipped topping
- Chocolate shavings or chocolate chips for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions.
- Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions and pour it into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
- Bake the cake as instructed and let it cool for about 10 minutes.
- Use the end of a wooden spoon to poke holes in the top of the cake, about 1 inch apart.
- In a bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until it thickens.
- Pour the pudding evenly over the top of the cake.
