  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Fill each cupcake liner about halfway with batter and place a small scoop of cookie dough on top.
  8. Top with more batter until the liners are about three-quarters full.
  9. Bake for 15-18 minutes, until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
