A vibrant and simple bruschetta topped with juicy tomatoes, fresh basil, and a hint of garlic, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 1 French baguette
  • 3 cups ripe tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick pieces and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle the slices with olive oil and toast in the oven until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Combine the diced tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
