A beautiful and airy dessert featuring crispy meringue shells filled with whipped cream and seasonal fruits, perfect for spring gatherings.

  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Whipped cream
  • Seasonal fruits (e.g., berries, kiwi, passion fruit)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add the sugar, continuing to beat until stiff and glossy.
  4. Gently fold in the vanilla extract, white vinegar, and cornstarch.
  5. Spoon or pipe the meringue onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into nests.
  6. Bake for 1 hour, then turn off the oven and let the meringue cool completely inside.
  7. Once cooled, top with whipped cream.
  8. Decorate with seasonal fruits and serve immediately.
