  • 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin.
  2. Mix together the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Whisk the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in the blueberries carefully.
  6. Spoon the batter into prepared muffin tins, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar after cooling slightly.
