A comforting sandwich filled with juicy chicken, crispy bacon, and gooey melted cheese, all smothered in ranch dressing.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 4 slices of cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 2 sandwich rolls or bread
  • Lettuce and tomato (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Sizzle up the bacon: Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Once done, remove the bacon and drain it on paper towels.
  2. Season and sear the chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In the same skillet, add the chicken and cook until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  3. Melt the cheese: Lay slices of cheese over the chicken and cover the skillet for a minute until the cheese melts.
  4. Toast the rolls: Toast your sandwich rolls in the toaster or a separate pan until crispy.
  5. Assemble your masterpiece: Spread ranch dressing on the rolls, layer the chicken with melted cheese, add crispy bacon, and optional lettuce and tomato.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy: Enjoy your sandwich warm with all its flavors!

Notes

For a healthier version, swap bacon for turkey bacon and use whole-grain bread.
