Ingredients

  • 1 baguette or ciabatta, sliced
  • 2 cups fresh tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Arrange the sliced bread on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden.
  3. Combine the diced tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, garlic, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well and let sit for a few minutes.
  4. Spoon the mixture onto the toasted bread slices. Serve immediately.
