  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish to ensure your bars come out easily.
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the softened butter to the dry mixture and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar together until stiff peaks form.
  7. Once the crust has cooled, spread the whipped cream over the surface and arrange the sliced strawberries on top.
  8. Cut into small bars and serve immediately.

Notes

Store any leftover bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. These bars can be frozen for up to 2 months.
