A luscious tiramisu combining rich mascarpone, fragrant amaretto, and sweet-tart cherries—perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/2 cup Amaretto liqueur
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • 2 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Brew the Perfect Coffee & Amaretto Mixture: In a shallow dish, combine the brewed coffee and Amaretto. Dip each ladyfinger into the mixture briefly and arrange them neatly at the bottom of a serving dish.
  2. Create the Decadent Whipped Cream: In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  3. Combine Whipped Cream & Mascarpone: Gently fold the mascarpone cheese into the whipped cream until well combined.
  4. Layer the First Mascarpone Mixture: Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the layer of ladyfingers.
  5. Add a Burst of Cherry Flavor: Spoon half of the cherry pie filling over the mascarpone layer, spreading it evenly.
  6. Repeat the Layering Process: Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and cherry pie filling.
  7. Let It Set: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight.
  8. Dust the top with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Ideal for serving with coffee or dessert wine.
