Ingredients

  • Fettuccine pasta
  • Butter
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Boil a pot of salted water and cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, letting the pasta rest with a sprinkle of olive oil to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt a generous amount of butter. Allow it to bubble slightly, being careful not to let it brown.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté gently for about one minute, until aromatic and golden.
  4. Introduce the cooked fettuccine back into the skillet, tossing to coat every strand with the garlic butter.
  5. Season with a sprinkle of salt and a dash of black pepper to suit your taste.
  6. Plate the fettuccine hot, garnishing with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
