A delightful cake that encapsulates the essence of sunny days with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.
  2. Cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Gradually add the eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl, then alternate mixing in with the milk until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  7. Once the cake is cool, top with sliced strawberries and whipped cream. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
