A luscious German Chocolate Cheesecake with a creamy base, chocolate chips, and a delightful topping of toasted coconut and pecans.

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers, sugar, and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of the springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, blending well after each addition.
  5. Gently stir in the shredded coconut, chopped pecans, and chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust and bake for approximately 60 minutes.
  7. Allow the cheesecake to cool to room temperature and then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

Notes

This cheesecake can be made a day in advance for best flavor. Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 5 days.
