Delightful gingerbread latte mousse domes, perfect for holiday gatherings and cozy dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brewed gingerbread-flavored coffee
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons brewed coffee for garnish
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Gingerbread cookies for decoration

Instructions

  1. Heat the milk, gingerbread coffee, and sugar in a saucepan until steaming.
  2. Whisk the egg yolks in a bowl until light and creamy.
  3. Return the mixture to the saucepan, add gelatin, and cook on low heat until thickened.
  4. Stir in the ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  5. Fold in the whipped cream until well combined.
  6. Pour the mixture into dome molds and refrigerate until set, about 3 hours.
  7. Serve by unmolding the domes onto a serving plate and garnishing with brewed coffee, whipped cream, and gingerbread cookies.

Notes

Can be made a day in advance; cover lightly with plastic wrap when storing.
