Homemade Greek yogurt bagels, easy to make and deliciously satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt
  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 large egg (for egg wash)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and self-rising flour until a dough forms.
  3. Add the salt and knead the dough briefly on a floured surface.
  4. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape each into a bagel.
  5. Place the bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Experiment with flavors by adding herbs or cheese.
