A delightful granola infused with the sweet flavors of apples and cinnamon, perfect for breakfast or as a snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped dried apples
  • 1/2 cup nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the oats, chopped dried apples, nuts, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  3. Melt the coconut oil in a small saucepan over low heat, then stir in the honey (or maple syrup) and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the warm wet ingredients over the dry mixture, stirring until fully coated.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown and fragrant.
  7. Cool on the baking sheet, then transfer to an airtight container.
