A warm and comforting dish featuring tender chicken coated in a sweet and smoky honey BBQ sauce, served over fluffy rice.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil over medium heat until soft, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add the diced chicken to the pan and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Mix BBQ sauce and honey in a bowl, then pour over the cooked chicken and heat for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Serve the chicken mixture over the cooked rice and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

For quicker preparation, use rotisserie chicken instead of raw chicken breast. Adjust sauce flavors to personal preference.
