  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup peanut butter cups, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate ganache (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 15×10 inch jelly roll pan.
  2. Whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove from oven and let it cool for a few minutes before rolling it up with a clean kitchen towel.
  7. Allow it to cool completely in the rolled form.
  8. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form in another bowl.
  9. Unroll the cooled chocolate roll and spread a layer of whipped cream and chopped peanut butter cups evenly on top.
  10. Carefully roll the cake back up and place it seam-side down.
  11. Drizzle with chocolate ganache before serving.

Notes

Make sure the cake is completely cool before rolling it to prevent cracks. You can use different types of candy or drizzle extra peanut butter for a richer flavor.
