A vibrant dish combining tender chicken, colorful broccoli, and luscious bowtie pasta, all bathed in a garlic and lemon butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta and Broccoli: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta according to the package instructions, and for the final 2 minutes of cooking, toss in the fresh broccoli florets. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Garlic: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt the unsalted butter. Add the minced garlic, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Cook the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with paprika, salt, and pepper, and cook in the skillet for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Rest the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest on a cutting board for a few minutes.
  5. Combine Pasta and Broccoli: In the same skillet, add the cooked pasta and broccoli, along with the lemon zest and juice. Toss to combine and heat through.
  6. Serve with Style: Slice the cooked chicken and serve it atop the pasta, garnished with parsley.

Notes

For added depth of flavor, consider sprinkling with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
