Delicious twists with a sweet mango glaze and savory chicken, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Mango puree
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp Ginger, minced
  • 2 Green onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 sheet Puff pastry
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix together the mango puree, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, minced ginger, and sesame oil to create the glaze.
  3. Cut the chicken breasts into strips and marinate them in the mango glaze for 30 minutes.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into strips about 1 inch wide.
  5. Place marinated chicken on each pastry strip and twist them securely.
  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the twists on it; brush with leftover glaze.
  7. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
