Delicious chicken wrapped in flaky pastry with a tropical mango glaze, perfect for any gathering.

  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 ripe mango, pureed
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 package puff pastry
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Spring onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the mango puree, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, minced ginger, sesame oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Add the sliced chicken to the marinade and let it sit for at least 20 minutes.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into strips, about 1-2 inches wide.
  5. Take a piece of marinated chicken and wrap it with a puff pastry strip, twisting it as you go.
  6. Place the twists on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced spring onions before serving.

Notes

Make sure your puff pastry is thawed before rolling out; don’t rush the marinating process for maximum flavor.
