Juicy meatballs bursting with flavor, topped with rich marinara sauce and melted mozzarella cheese. A perfect meal for family gatherings or cozy nights in.

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until everything is well combined and sticky.
  4. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and lightly browned.
  6. While baking, heat marinara sauce in a skillet over medium heat.
  7. Once meatballs are done, transfer them to the skillet with marinara sauce.
  8. Top with shredded mozzarella, cover, and cook until cheese is melted.
  9. Serve warm with extra marinara and a sprinkle of parsley.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
