Delightful pastel-colored marshmallow treats perfect for Easter celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • Food coloring (pastel colors)
  • Chocolate candy melts (optional for coating)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large bowl in the microwave. Add mini marshmallows and stir until fully coated.
  2. Microwave the marshmallow mixture for about 30 seconds or until melted. Stir until smooth and shiny.
  3. Gradually add powdered sugar and corn syrup, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Divide the dough, adding a few drops of food coloring to each portion, and knead until uniform.
  5. Shape the dough into egg shapes.
  6. If desired, melt chocolate candy melts and dip the marshmallow eggs in warm chocolate, letting them cool on a wax paper-lined tray.
  7. Decorate as desired or package for gifting.

Notes

Coat your hands with powdered sugar when shaping to prevent sticking. Variations in flavor can enhance the treats.
