Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 egg whites

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, water, and salt. Cook over medium heat until boiling, stirring constantly.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  3. Slowly pour the hot sugar mixture into the egg whites while beating continuously.
  4. Once fully blended and fluffy, add the vanilla extract and beat until thick and luxurious.
  5. Use as a filling, topping, or dip as desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Give it a good stir before using.
