A delightful Oreo Cake that combines rich chocolate layers with crunchy bits of Oreos, perfect for any celebration.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 15 Oreo cookies, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two 9-inch round cake pans by greasing and flouring them.
  2. Whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Combine the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract with the dry ingredients.
  4. Incorporate the boiling water carefully, then fold in the chopped Oreo cookies.
  5. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans.
  6. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool the cakes in the pans for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Frost with chocolate frosting and decorate with additional Oreo cookies.

Notes

For added flavor, serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
