A classic dish featuring crunchy Parmesan crusted chicken breasts that are tender and juicy on the inside.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs until smooth.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the eggs, allowing excess to drip off, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the coated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
  8. Serve hot accompanied by your favorite sides.

Notes

Purge the chicken of excess moisture before coating for better adhesion of ingredients. For a healthier twist, consider using whole wheat breadcrumbs or an air fryer.
