A delightful twist on a classic dessert, these Peach Cobbler Egg Rolls feature sweet peaches wrapped in a crispy shell, perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup peaches, diced
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 8 egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Whipped cream for serving (optional)
  • Vanilla ice cream for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the diced peaches, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a bowl. Mix well until the peaches are well-coated and the sugar begins to dissolve.
  2. Place about 2 tablespoons of the peach mixture in the center of each egg roll wrapper.
  3. Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling, then roll it up tightly from the bottom.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat until it reaches about 350°F.
  5. Carefully slide a few egg rolls into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Remove the fried egg rolls from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Notes

For a healthier version, try baking the egg rolls instead of frying. Use gluten-free wrappers for a gluten-free option.
